Maximilian Zündt studied Computer Systems Engineering as a main degree and focused his studies with a Master in Broadband and Mobile Communication Networks, both at the Technical University Munich and at the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK). He is member of the IEEE and IEE (MIET). He completed his doctoral thesis at the Institute of Communication Networks (Prof. J. Eberspächer) on location awareness in 4G networks and distributed location services for advanced location-based services. Furthermore, he is interested in the entrepreneurship and business aspects of mobile service development using rapid prototyping methods. After CDTM, he pursued a career in consultancy in product development and systems engineering for four years at 3D Systems Engineering GmbH. He is now employed at Detecon AG in Switzerland doing consulting in ICT Management, focussing on Enterprise Architecture Development.
