Florian Lachner studied “Mechanical Engineering & Management (M.Sc.)” at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) – with majors in systematic product development (in particular innovation management and user experience design) and business administration. In his preceding study program “Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc.)” at the TUM, he focused on product development processes and production management. Furthermore, Florian completed the additional educational program “Bavarian EliteAcademy”.
During his studies, Florian gained practical experiences in the fields of consulting, strategy, and business development at Bain & Company Inc. and BMW AG in Munich as well as at Detecon Inc. in San Francisco, USA. Moreover, Florian was a student employee at the startup viovendi GmbH and a research assistant at the department for technology and innovation management from the TUM.
Florian joined the CDTM management team in 2015 and is now working on his Ph.D. in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI) and user experience (UX).
