Nikolaus Konrad works as a strategy consultant in the fields of telecommunications and media. Before he was assistant lecturer and project manager at the Center for Digital Technology and Management. Nikolaus gave lectures in the Master and Bachelor in Business Administration Programs at LMU, the Honours Degree in Technology Management Program at CDTM and the European Master of Management Program at EMLyon Business School, Aston Business School, and Munich School of Management (LMU).
In his dissertation he focused on techno-economic aspects of next generation broadband networks and technologies, network neutrality, and telecommunication regulation.
Before joining CDTM, he worked with Aptar Group, HypoVereinsbank, Siemens, and Telefónica. Additionally he co-created a Munich-based real estate company and worked as a consultant in the real estate business.
He holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration, a Diploma Degree in Business Administration, and a Masters Degree in Business Research from the Munich School of Management, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, as well as an Honours Degree in Technology Management from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and the Technische Universität München.
During his studies he specialized in operations management, management accounting, information systems, and organizational theory with particular focus on TIME industries.
Nikolaus was a visiting researcher at the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley (USA) and at the HEC Montréal Business School (Canada). Before, he was a visiting student at the EMLyon Business School (France).
