Who's behind the CDTM
Board
The board of directors is the organizational head of the CDTM. It consists of ten renowned professors from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and Technische Universität München (TUM). The board meets twice a year and makes all major strategic and organizational decisions at the CDTM. The members of the board contribute to research and education at CDTM. They have a passion for transferring knowledge to their students and provide the CDTM with their verve and initiative. All of them are experts in their fields and have gained academic and business experience as visiting professors, entrepreneurs and researchers at renowned national and international instituations and organizations. The board of directors also appoints the scientific directors of the CDTM each year.
Management Team
The Management Team is responsible for managing and operation of the CDTM Graduate Program and Research. It consists of the current Scientific Directors, rotating each year, and the staff (CDTM Core Team) of the CDTM. Together they define the strategy, designing the academic program and curriculum, sketch new research opportunities and are responsible for financing, marketing, recruiting, growing the network of partners and associated tasks.
Lecturers
The academic life at the CDTM is shaped by its highly international and business-related character. Renowned lecturers from our home- and collaborating institutions as well as visiting scientists from abroad and executives from business partners play an important role within the elective course program and support the faculty with their expertise.
