CDTM Core Team

Dr. Christian Menkens

Christian Menkens received a Software Engineering diploma (FH) from the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Science in Computer Science double degree from the Technical University Munich and the Georgia Institute of Technology. In his studies he specialized in software engineering, software architectures, web (service) application design and development, mobile technologies and Next Generation Network (NGN) application design and development. He gained practical expertise through his work as freelance web technologies consultant as well as through his web and VoIP application development positions, as intern and diploma thesis student, at Devlin eBusiness Architects and Rimode Inc., Toronto. During and after his studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Christian gained additional work and research experience in the areas of NGNs and social community networks and applications through his research projects with companies like AT&T, Cingular, Ubiquity and Nokia Siemens Networks. He is currently working on his Ph.D. thesis in Computer Science at the Technical University Munich. Christian joined the CDTM team in 2008.
