Dipl.-Inf. Andreas Schmid

Andreas Schmid holds a Computer Science diploma from the LMU Munich and completed an additional degree in Technology Management at the CDTM. He also attended business administration classes at the Haas School of Business as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley.
Aside from his studies, Andreas gathered significant working experience as a freelance IT consultant and in numerous working student positions and internships at companies such as Siemens, BMW and Deutsche Telekom. He also spent considerable time abroad during an internship at Infosys Technologies in India and a lengthy road trip through the US.
Before joining the CDTM management team, Andreas worked as a consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
At CDTM, Andreas conducts research for the CrossGeneration project founded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. His work focuses on conceptualizing service and business models for utilizing mobile Micro Systems Technology to increase the quality of life for elderly individuals. Andreas joined CDTM in 2009.
