Anna-Sophie Liebender-Luc studied Economics (B.Sc.) at the University of Mannheim and Strategic Foresight (M.A.) at Freie Universität Berlin. During her studies, she gained practical experience at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the Philippines, The Advisory House in Zurich, Stiftung Neue Verantwortung in Berlin, and the Carbon Disclosure Project in London.
After her studies, she worked for five years as an Economist / Policy Analyst at the OECD in Paris. She conducted research and analysis on digital transformation, the ocean economy, and bridging the digital gender divide. Previously to joining CDTM, she gained experience in supporting high-potential startups to scale globally at German Accelerator.
Anna-Sophie joined the CDTM management team in the summer of 2020. In her Ph.D. research, she will focus on the impact of digital transformation on the economy.
