The Inspire&Dine takes place about two to three times a year and is structured in short time slots reserved for different topics, each with a duration of about 15 minutes. The first 10 minutes of each segment consists of a presentation on a specific topic; the rest of the time will be reserved for discussion. Topics vary broadly from, for example, recent startup projects to experience reports shared by both industry representatives and students or professors. Also, philosophical or socio-critical questions are presented and discussed actively with the audience.
In our workshop we will introduce you to the concept of social entrepreneurship. In addition, you will have the chance to get to know the CDTM and our community. Inspiring female members of the CDTM community will tell you about their personal and professional experiences at the CDTM and beyond. Of course, there will also be plenty of time for your questions.
We will show you that to build a functional prototype you do not need a technical background or coding experience. If you have an idea for an application that you want to introduce to the world, this is your opportunity. You will learn the basics of prototyping with the popular UX design software Figma and create an app prototype for a real-world problem.
If you have not been able to make it to our previous info events and are planning to apply this semester before November 30th, this is your opportunity to ask any last-minute questions you might have regarding your application. Active CDTM students are more than happy to answer all your CDTM and application-process related questions.
