Aaron Defort obtained his Master’s degree in management at ESCP Europe in Paris and St. Gallen after having done a Bachelor’s in Münster and Portsmouth (UK). Following his Master’s degree, he also took part in the intensive Design Thinking course at the HPI in Potsdam.

In parallel to his studies he did internships in the fields of Sales Digitalisation (at SEAT), HR Consulting (at undconsorten), Transaction Strategy (at KPMG) and Project Management (at Bosch) across Germany, France and Spain.

After graduating, he started his professional life in a consultancy in Paris and specialised in cultural change. His biggest project, with a european aerospace company, was to develop new ways of working by breaking the silos between different parts of the organisation.

Aaron joined the CDTM management team in 2018. He is pursuing his research about entrepreneurial ecosystems and social networks at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition.
