Elizaveta Felsche studied Physics (M.Sc.) and Philosophy (B.Sc.) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. During her stay abroad in Montreal, Canada and later also in her master thesis she participated in the ClimEx project, investigating the influence of Climate Change on extreme weather events. In parallel to her studies Elizaveta gained practical experience at Allianz working in IT Project Management as well as when organizing several summer school projects for adolescents. Elizaveta joined the CDTM management team in 2020. Her research deals with the investigation of the influence of Climate Change on global circulation patterns, which are crucial to understand the emergence of extreme weather events like droughts, heat waves and cold spells.
