CDTM enabled me to go deep down the rabbit hole of what now feels like somewhat of my life’s calling: investigating how technology shapes the world, and is in turn being shaped by it. CDTM was a place that raised my ambition level. It exposed me to excellence and pretty hard feedback, while at the same time giving me the feeling that people with backgrounds very different to mine wanted me on their team. This gave me a lot of self-confidence that I still draw on today as a Venture Capitalist. As eager students, we all knew something, but in meeting at CDTM, we also realised that we didn’t know all that much. That’s a great starting point for going on a mutual learning adventure.

As a Venture Capitalist, I constantly work on finding the next team that has a shot at building an outstanding company, as well as supporting them through the ups and downs of their journey.

I have had the privilege of investing in many CDTM teams, who continue to surpass expectations on many fronts. I am still actively involved in CDTM as a lecturer and get a big energy boost from staying close to active classes. Even after having left for so many years, CDTM continues to be home for me.
